Would there be much interest in a MonoGame book? The idea being to cover the following...
- Take the reader through introducing them to the XNA 2D API,
- Differences between XNA and MonoGame
- Porting your game from WP7 to iOS, Android, MacOS etc
- Creating a simple 2D game, with sound and animations initially on iOS.
- Adding Simple AI
- Then we will show them how to take that simple game and port it from iOS to Android, MacOS X, Linux, Windows Phone 7 and PlayStation Suite.
- How to de couple your UI from your game logic so that that each platform can have a more native look and feel.
- Explaining the best practises to use on each device and platform and what pitfalls they should be aware of.
- Basic physics or using 3rd party physics libraries
- Adding Networking capabilities to the simple 2D game, so that a players with different devices can still play with each other.
Is there a market for such a beginner's book on MonoGame?

If you produced a book which did all of the above then I think it would be very good.
I would certainly buy it!

I think it is a great idea. There should be many people interested in cross platform game development.
