Same here. Bit tricky to use MonoGame if installing it doesn't actually do anything.

@Bitterman, it installs only in Program Files, then nothing in Visual Studio Templates

  • Please fix this

I had the same issue, where after running the Monogame Installer, there were no Visual Studio templates.

It turns out the Visual Studio templates were installed to the admin user template directory:
C:\Users\admin\Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame
C:\Users\admin\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame

You can copy them into your normal user's template directory, but it's really confusing when they don't appear at first.

There is nothing anywhere, it didn't install those files for me. I have no templates and no way to access them from the site or anywhere. Frustrating..

Thanks Nightstaff, I had a similar issue. In my case the Templates were being added to the folders:

E:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame
E:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame

where they should have been added to:

C:\Users\MyUsername\Documents\visual studio 2010\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame
C:\Users\MyUsername\Documents\visual studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\MonoGame

Perhaps this is due to me not using the default My Documents locations.
